Hey there! New user of the page here, first post and first patch ever...
I just patched the palette case the way I use it for using my vocal microphone and various external keyboards / synths or a bass guitar / acoustic guitar via eurorack, mainly in order to process it via mimeophon, clouds and my eventide h9 (connected via the pedal i/o module).

The Neo Trinity is there obviusly for modulation of the mimeophon and clouds. I patch it via the attenuator cables from Koma Elektronik since I don't have an attenuator nor does the module provide a way to module the voltage of it's signal.

I was wondering if you had any ideas to use the envelope follower capabilities of the Befaco's Instrument Interface. I don't seem to fully understand the possibilities of that section of the module in this case.

Any help will be appreciated!

Hello and welcome.
An envelope follower is useful for getting a CV source from an audio input. Say you plug a guitar into your Instrument Interface, every time you pluck a string an envelope is generated, either positive or negative. You might want to use that negative envelope to lower the wet/dry of your effects so you can hear each note clearly followed by a blooming reverb or something. I often use the negative envelope generated by a kick drum to "duck" my bassline so the bass remains a little clearer. Or maybe you want to get an auto-wah effect by using the positive envelope to open a filter that your guitar is going into. Those are a few uses of an envelope follower.
