pull your modules, the power supply might be risky now,
and measure the three voltages with a scope/meter, then you'll know what's next

there's a possibility of a bad module pulling down power or a ribbon cable short too,
but i'd check the +12 -12 and +5, and avoid debugging by swapping things around too much

Tonight when using my three nifty case setup,,one of the cases froze up,,loads of lights on ,no sound,,i turned the power off and back on again,,it was ok for five minutes,,then froze again,,it was incredibly hot in my lab today,,can extreme external temperatures do this sort of thing,,or is the problem elsewhere?
If anyone can give advice it would be great,,thanks,,Bonehead.

i have an Intellijel 7U performance case gen2. and i want to add a second case...
I know the best way would be with joiner plates for adding a second performance case... but its a bit too expansive for me to go for another of these cases...

Does anyone have an idea how to combine another 1U 104 case with it? is there a stand or something to put a second case behind the performance case who works well?

I always like a master system clock with a feedback path, like a Pam's with an Axon-2.

I ordered one and I should get it soon. I'm very exited to get this module. The concept is unique (or are there other modules out there with the same functions?).
I'm very interessted in an expander, and what I read about it, it makes it more handy for quick editing. In the official video it can be seen. There are also two additional CV inputs.

A couple of these came from my old man’s gigging board. He was involved in one of the more respected Upper Midwest polka death metal projects — those familiar with the scene will know which one — so I wanted to preserve some of that original signal-chain logic rather than over-modernize it.

Signal path reflects a deliberate approach to pre-distortion acoustic resonance, budget gain staging, post-clipping modulation, studio-grade transient management, and tape-based spatial recovery.

Open to friendly suggestions, especially from anyone with experience balancing legacy polka-metal gain structures with more modern delay and compression workflows.

Awesome looking and Sounding Module!

Sweet Sixteen by Tesseract modular is great for this. It has 16 inputs & outputs and can output at the same time to CV, MIDI and i2C. You can also use it without any inputs just as a CV generator. However it doesn't have recording or something similar, it's just faderbank.

I am in my 2nd month of owning my Eurorack, and have steadily learnt what goals and preferences I have pertaining to electronic music. This past week I have added the Squarp Rample Turbo, the DLD, and the FX AID XL. I am finding that I value accessibility, flexibility, and controllability when patching and performing. The goal here is A DAW-less song generator, and I am thinking more 'perform and arrange live' than 'record parts and edit later'.

My current noise machine...

I am looking for some advice on CV controllers, whether it be a joystick or a fader module, internal vs. external...
I am hoping to achieve a sort of 'atmosphere controller', using a mult (or if the controller has multiple outputs per input/dial/etc.?) to control multiple parameters to achieve different sounds.

Ex: 1 Fader changes --> up Granulita reverb & down Plaits timbre --> washier ambient sound, and in reverse with the opposite effect.
As well as easier access for VCA control, modulation depth...

Any and all input is appreciated.

I know this is years (literally) after your Post, but yes, the FX Aid XL will fit into a Moog 60hp case. I have one which has been in one of mine for quite a while now, and it fits just fine in there. This may be too late for you as I'm sure you found out shortly after posting, but perhaps someone else is wondering and sees this. Anyway, Happy Patching!

It is! For 23 years, which is a long time for any online thing.

This is for their annual birthday celebration, so this year, it's SL23B.
People get together, get a plot to build on, and make something new in about a week.
We built an interactive synth, with the sequencer based on JohnConway's Game of Life.
It took around 2,000 of LSL scripting language. I am tired, but it sounds really nice.

SL23B opens in a week and runs for a month. Come find us and play it, we're in the 'Spectacular' simulator.

I'm wondering how often the Reverb ones get refreshed, as there seem to be a lot with what are basically dead links (module has long since been sold, or the reverb listing removed).

thank you for the input ! I've reviewed carefully the suggestions and yes at least one buffered mult is needed. I didn't really understood how the Frap Tools 333 can keep things in tune. I still think a matrix mixer could be nice to shape on the flow some audio and cv signals during improvisation sessions, actually this is what I am doing the most during performances.
