Quad Voltage Controlled Envelope Generator with Delay
Quad Envelope Generator - An extended version of the Model 280 envelope generation, which adds voltage control and variable delay and duration times.
Four independent envelope generators with variable attack and decay times and a choice of sustained or transient operation. Input pulses initiate envelopes and optionally control duration time. Output pulses, activated at end of decay, are particularly useful for advancing sequencers or looping to inputs to generate repetitive functions.
Each envelope is actually a set of two function generators. The first is a simple AD envelope triggered by an external pulse, which then sends a pulse to trigger the second ASD envelope generator. The length of the first envelope is variable, and serves to delay the second envelope.
All times are internally variable from .002 to 10 seconds; control voltages may be used to extend this range and control overall time while preserving envelope shape.
