Multi-channel audio and midi backing track player
The Idoru P-1 is a simple, compact, and tough multi-channel audio and midi backing track player. Designed specifically for live musicians.
Today, many musicians need to play audio backing tracks when performing. They also use MIDI to control other gear, like drum machines, amps, effects, and lights. They typically use their laptops and accessories to do so, but our computers are often unreliable, expensive, fragile, and can be slow to set up.
The P-1 is designed to allow live musicians to playback 6 audio files (.wav format) at once, through 6 separate mono outputs, plus a stereo headphones output. Outputs can be stereo paired in order to make use of stereo wave files. Each output can also have its own unique sub mix of the 6 wave files. The P-1 also plays a MIDI file in sync with your audio, and outputs MIDI clock.
