Vintage Electro-Harmonix Soul Preacher Compressor/Sustainer pedal made in New York City, USA. This is the large-box late-1970s version featuring the brushed aluminum faceplate with gold graphics, two control knobs (Volume and Threshold), and the 3-position Attack/Treble Boost switch.The Soul Preacher is one of Electro-Harmonix's lesser-seen vintage compressors and offers classic analog compression with plenty of sustain and a bright, articulate character. The attack switch provides three selectable settings, allowing everything from fast "country squish" to slower, more open compression. This pedal appears to retain its original vintage circuit board and components. Interior photos are included so buyers can inspect the circuitry for themselves.
