This is an early example featuring the highly sought after and rare NKT275 White Dot germanium transistor, known for its particularly smooth, musical and organic response. Sonically, this Beano Boost delivers the well known dynamic and touch sensitive treble boost tones associated with players like Eric Clapton and Rory Gallagher, with excellent clean up via the guitar volume control and a rich, singing overdrive when pushing an already driven amp. The White Dot NKT275 transistor is especially valued for its warm top end, smooth compression and less harsh high frequencies compared to later variants.The pedal is fully functional and comes in very good cosmetic condition.
