Selling a Fender Level Set Buffer in excellent condition.Feel free to ask for a shipping quota to your destination, maybe we can go cheaper.A 3M Dual-Lock strip is adhered to the back of the unit. This is an exceptionally high-quality buffer with the following features:Input impedance: 1MΩOutput impedance: 1kΩGain control: +/- 12dBHigh-shelf EQ: +/- 12dB (centered around 4-5kHz)Load Switch: Simulates cable capacitance or specific pickup configurations—essentially a gentle de-emphasis functionAdditional direct through output (dedicated tuner output)Mute switch14mA @ 9V; battery operation possible (with innovative battery compartment)This isn't just an exceptionally high-quality buffer—it's a great way to cater the preamp input of digital devices across a wide range. The Problem & Solution:This buffer/preamp pedal solves a major issue with many non-high-end MultiFX units or profiler/modelers, infamously the Tonex:Some place their preamp level control after the preamp stage. The Tonex (example) defaults to +8.5dB input gain, and most profiles are designed around this. That works fine for single-coils, but pushing 16k+ humbuckers into it causes clipping and poor tone. Some HSS setups also have unusual impedance characteristics. With this pedal you can seamlessly use different guitars on the Tonex with the same preset and always get a great sound. It's the best solution I've found.Selling because: My Quad Cortex has a preamp in a completely different league and a more practical interface, so it's no longer needed. The Fender pedals are genuinely surprising in quality.
