The Pilule from Glou Glou is a glitchy mess in the best possible way thanks to a clever PLL fuzz circuit that beautifully breaks up your signal, allowing for wild new sounds. The core of the pedal is a velcro-style fuzz that goes into a pitch-tracking PLL, causing it to misfire in a musically satisfying way. After that, a compressor with Sustain, Comp, and Dyna controls lets you squish the fine details into an energetic soup, with the Dyna switch allowing more natural gestures to affect the effect. Finetune the PLL parameters with controls for Range, which narrows or expands the frequencies that the PLL will react to, Octave, which can push your signal up to 5 octaves above, and Speed that can create a woozy mess or move into waveshaping territory at high speeds. Large controls for Filter, which warps the PLL's internal state, and Lag, which plays with the note accumulation add even more sonic possibilities. Switches for a mid-range Scoop, Dry mix in, and Low cut help to tame the audio, when there's just too much.
