Offer Details

Boss DD-3 digital delay, serial #845621 (August 1988, MIJ), in very good cosmetic and fully working condition. This is an early DD-3 that still shares the same long-chip 12-bit architecture as the DD-2, which is why these units are often preferred—they retain much of that slightly softer, more musical character rather than the more clinical sound of later revisions. The DD-3 builds on the DD-2 formula with a slightly tighter, cleaner repeat that works well across a wide range of settings—from subtle slapback to longer, precise delays. It stays defined under gain and sits neatly in a mix without getting muddy.A long-time staple on pedalboards, used by players like Johnny Marr and John Frusciante, the DD-3 is known for being dependable and easy to dial in.And with its musical and inspiring attitude, it's a great companion for your synths, too!If you’re after a great-sounding digital delay with early-spec character and classic Boss reliability, this is the one.Send me a message for any questions. I will ship anywhere, just contact me first if you're outside the listed locations. Thank you for your interest!
