Offer Details

The original Stereo Neo Instruments Ventilator, released in 2010s and discontinued in 2013, is a digital emulation of the Leslie Model 122 rotary speaker that quickly became the industry standard for rotary simulators. Designed by Guido Kirsch (creator of the Access Virus synth), the unit features a solid aluminium chassis with five recessed knobs controlling Speed, Acceleration, Balance, Drive, and Distance to authentically replicate the dual-rotor movement and tube-like saturation of a vintage Leslie. Key specifications and features include:Audio Processing: It splits the signal at 800Hz (matching the original Leslie crossover) to process bass and treble rotors independently, with unsynchronized speeds and different acceleration/deceleration times for realism. Modes: A rear Key/Git switch toggles between Keyboard Mode (full cabinet simulation) and Guitar Mode (rotary effect only, bypassing the cabinet coloration). Connectivity: The unit offers mono input and stereo outputs, a Lo/Hi gain switch, and a remote input jack for optional footswitches like the Ventilator Remote or half-moon switches. Controls: It lacks a built-in "stop" function, requiring an external footswitch to engage the internal stop mechanism for dramatic rotor braking. Construction: Built with recessed buttons and a rugged design, it was widely used by touring artists such as Chuck Leavell and Craig Frost due to its durability and authentic sound. NOTE: US Buyers, item will be shipped from USA Apr 24-26 at the earliest
