The Ditto X4 is a floor-based, dual-track looper with effects. It builds on everything that made the original Ditto great by expanding to two foot-switch-able loop tracks for greater phrasal diversity, sync and serial loop modes with adjustable decay, and 7 onboard loop effects to keep the creative juices flowing onstage and in the studio. MIDI sync lets you start/stop recording and switch loops in perfect time with a backing track or tempo map for seamless transitions. Stereo I/O gives you a lot of setup flexibility. Store, play back, and manipulate five minutes of 24-bit audio with the TC Electronic Ditto X4.The two independent loop tracks each have their own level knob plus an unlatching micro toggle that allows you to store the loop you’ve recorded for use elsewhere. You can also utilize either Serial mode, allowing you to switch seamlessly between the two tracks, or Sync mode, which lets you play both at the same time. A master decay control regulates the fade duration of older loops as new ones are recorded, and a seven-way rotary pot accesses a selection of loop effects that can be turned on and off via footswitch.There are also stereo in and outputs, MIDI In and Thru ports, and a USB Mini B socket, plus four DIP switches that allow you to tailor a selection of the X4’s functions to your own tastes. Connect to a computer via USB to either export saved loops to your desktop or import audio files into the pedal via a drag and drop interface. Includes Ditto X4 Looper, original box, 9V power supply, and USB cable.This unit was the last item on a gently used pedal board. It doesn't have any obvious defects and should provide you with years of service.
