Late 90's limited release DOD FX76 Punkifier. Missing first knob cab and battery cover (see pics). Works great still, super interesting Fuzz and unique addition to any pedal collection... Here's the write up:DOD FX76 Punkifier (1997) Released in 1997 as part of DOD’s FX series, the FX76 Punkifier was a bold and aggressive attempt to capture the raw, chaotic essence of punk rock in a single stompbox. Designed as a hybrid of fuzz, distortion, and noise gate, the Punkifier lives up to its name with a brash, unforgiving tone profile that was unlike anything else on the market at the time.At its core, the FX76 blends a traditional distortion circuit with a gated fuzz that can produce everything from gritty crunch to speaker-shredding sizzle. What sets it apart is the "Punk" control, which dials in increasing levels of fuzzy mayhem layered on top of the core distortion. The result is an unpredictable, intentionally unruly sound—perfect for players looking to inject chaos and character into their tone.Controls:Level – Adjusts output volume.Distortion – Sets the amount of standard distortion.Punk – Adds a gated fuzz overlay (the heart of the pedal).Gating – Controls the level of noise gate applied. The gating aspect, a somewhat unusual feature for a fuzz/distortion pedal, helps to tame the noise—but only just. When used aggressively, it can add a choppy, almost sputtery character to the fuzz, reminiscent of vintage Maestro FZ-1 and Death By Audio-style textures.Market & CollectibilityThe DOD FX76 Punkifier was discontinued in 1998, making it a relatively rare find today. Its unusual tone and visual design (featuring a cartoonish punk icon) give it a nostalgic '90s vibe. It remains a fun, wild pedal for players who want something off the beaten path—equal parts fuzzbox, distortion, and noise machine.
