Welcome to GearLord.com on Reverb– For your consideration is this vintage 1980 Mu-Tron C-200 Volume-Wah effects pedal by Musitronics.– This nice example, serial number 5737, is in 100% all original condition.– It was previously owned and used by Indigo Ranch studio where it had resided for decades. The worde “INDIGO” is written on four different places on the foot pedal in blue magic marker. According to Indigo’s inventory sheet, it was in the studio’s arsenal for a long time having been used in countless sessions and on many recordings. Reference below for a brief history on Indigo Ranch.– The Mu-Tron C-200 Volume-Wah pedal features volume and wah functions that can be used independently or in concert. The features include a trim pot on the side of the pedal (that provides a gain boost up to 10 dB) and two LED indicators nestled beneath their respective footswitches. Vice published an article on how Indigo became the “improbable birthplace of Nu-Metal,” and Tape-Op Magazine interviewed Richard Kaplan, Ross Robinson, and others about the numerous important albums made at Indigo Ranch over the many decades it actively changed the landscape of both music and culture.
