The Magnetic Echo replicates tube tape echo tones of the Echo-Plex and Roland Space Echo by using a touch of Lo-Fi delay, a slightly filtered echo response for a warm tone and a bit of modulation for “wow and flutter“ or slight wavering of pitch on the repeat trails.Echo Controls: TIME sets the length between repeats (40ms to 600ms); REGEN sets the number of repeats - from slap back echo to runaway self-oscillating or self- regenerating echoes; LEVEL sets the echoes volume Wow and Flutter controls: DEPTH: CW for increasing deeper chorusing and echo pitch sifting; RATE is the “flutter” control that simulates increasingly “older” or “worn” tape modulation through a bit of pitch shift.
