About the Unicorn Account

Description

The Keeley Hooke Reverb combines old-school tube amp spring reverb and tremolo into one compact package. There are three main modes easily accessible via the main pedal surface: “Spring”, “Trem+Verb”, and “Fugue” – and the corresponding Tone, Spring, Reverb and Level knobs will react differently, depending on the mode selected. The first two modes are the typical high-quality effects that you would expect from Keeley. You get a classic and versatile spring reverb, as well as a “Blackface” style tremolo and reverb combo. The third “Fugue” mode is a ‘100% wet’ spring reverb, with octave up and down, giving a church organ vibe. When you open the back plate and change the Bank Switch to “Bank 2” you will have three more patches – “Long Decay Trem+Verb”, “Spring-Plate”, and “Vibro-Spring”. Just a whole lot of fun packed into a compact pedal, which will sit perfectly at the end of the signal chain. There are some excellent video reviews out there, which I would recommend checking out.The pedal for sale is the one pictured and was bought very soon after its original release. It is in mint condition and was only used a handful of times in the home studio. Since then, it has been boxed and safely stored away. It has been recently tested and works exactly as it should. It will be sold with its original box and all the usual Keeley box-candy. Please note, this requires 9VDC Centre-Negative power at a minimum 65mA, and a separate power supply is NOT included.
