Description

Other than the velcro this has no signs of 'use' and I never applied it to my board but thought I might eventually. It's been sitting in a drawer and is unfortunately in my list of 'rarely gonna use' pedals - however it's not an easy pedal to find in this finish, the common Monterey stock version is ubiquitous enough that I'm not too worried about it. I find the fuzz in this does sound quite a lot like my old 'blacktop fuzz' by keeley, I wish I still had that, too. The rotary sounds in this are quite convincing and the octave control is very unique in that it blends from a low octave blend, to a dry, to a high octave blend, which is not a common find where pedals tend to toggle something on/off instead of blending it in. Because of this, there are some unique sounds you can coax out of it. The pedal is 1 of 50 made (not sure where in the sequence this pedal is) - and it's instant Jimi Hendrix fuel - but offers many other possibilities. The order-switch button on the back is really useful to have and the independent volume level of each side allows for some nice gainstaging/mixing in a band context. I often like my rotary sounds to be under the mix a bit, but if you want that in your solo-boost sound then you have some increased dB available here. The fuzz cleans up with politeness and isn't crazy-saturated - but accepts inputs before it in a way that allow you to get it really screaming and fuzzy if desired. I hope to find a happy home for this. This costed me a bit over 200 to have shipped and I am pricing it accordingly to hopefully make that money back after fees. I'm not interested in a massive profit for this thing but it is relatively rare and I am not in a dire need to sell it - so hopefully we find a fair balance. Please let me know any shipping preferences and I'll abide / communicate as such. Thanks for checking it out!
