Pseudo-Sidechain Compressor
This thing is a must-have in any rack - It mixes two signals and ducks one around the other, creating the feel of a sidechained compressor.
Works wonderfully with a kick drum and…well, pretty much anything else you throw at it.
ATTACK and DECAY knobs control the shape and size of the duck, while the MIX knob controls how much of the TRIG AUD makes it through to the mix.
Available in a black or quacktastic blue faceplate, this ultra-clean, low-cost circuit is all based around a simple opamp and vactrol, with diode protection to keep everything moving the right way, all in a tight 4 HP.
Available as a prebuilt module, kit, or board/faceplate set.
