Astrogorus Noise Drone Voice
The Astrogorus Eurorack module delivers the full sonic capabilities of the standalone Astrogorus synthesizer, now in a compact, rack-ready format designed for harsh noise artists, drone explorers, and modular sound designers. Every circuit, control, and modulation path has been carefully preserved to ensure the same raw power, tone-shaping flexibility, and experimental edge that define the Astrogorus sound.
Oscillators
At its core, the module features three fully independent oscillators, each with dedicated rate control for intricate beating and interference effects. A fourth composite oscillator sums the outputs of the first three along with a noise source, creating complex harmonic interactions and unpredictable modulations.
A dedicated mixer allows for fine blending of the four oscillators plus noise, while six selector switches let you choose between different noise textures to feed the composite oscillator — from smooth to aggressively granular.
CV Modulation
Two CV inputs extend the sonic range even further, directly influencing oscillator switching and modulation states. The inputs accept standard +5V gate signals, and when driven by low-frequency sources, they reveal slow-moving shifts and evolving tonal landscapes ideal for ambient, drone, and experimental performances.
Harmonics Section
The Harmonics circuit functions as a six-band filter and equalizer, offering precise control over frequency shaping. Combined with feedback and output level controls, it lets you sculpt the spectral balance of the signal, from subtle coloration to resonant, overdriven intensity.
Distortion Section
The built-in Distortion unit adds another layer of character and aggression. Adjustable distortion level, feedback, and a two-band tone control provide deep control over timbre, making it easy to move from warm saturation to full-on destruction.
Connectivity and Power
The module connects easily to any Eurorack system via a standard 16-pin flat power cable (included). All inputs and outputs use 3.5 mm jacks, ensuring compatibility with modular setups and external gear.
