Universal Host
Homemade custom module.
This is an ODROID U3 single-board Linux computer in a 36HP Eurorack module, along with a USB hub, an LCD display with keypad, and two Mutable Instruments CVpals (permanently wired into the USB hub). Since it has three front-panel USB host (not device) ports and CV output, it can interface USB-MIDI controllers to the synth without any additional computer. However, its front-panel Ethernet port also allows it to interface with other computers over the network; and because there's more than trivial computing power built in, it can run software synthesis too, interfaced to the rest of the Eurorack through the ODROID's microphone in and left/right earphone out connections.
This module requires massive amounts of 5V power, but only 5V; so it doesn't actually touch the Eurorack power bus at all, but gets its power through a 5V connection on the front panel. Any extra power fed in through that port becomes available to USB-connected devices.

These merchants probably sell this module. Huh?
