ADDAC System ADDAC809S

The ADDAC809S is a stereo signal chain router that helps you take control of your modular system without repatching, letting you dynamically reroute signals between two chains manually or with CV. As a stereo version of their mono chain router, the ADDAC809S features all the same signal-swapping fun, while making it easier to control stereo chains common with modern modular effects. While stereo effect routing is an obvious application, the module is just as capable for routing CV signals, making it easy to swap between voltage processors like quantizers, shift registers, and more.

On the device, you get stereo inputs and outputs for your signal with stereo to and from connections for two signal chains between them. Patch in your chosen signals and chains, and you can use the buttons above to route your signal through either chain independently, use both chains in series in either direction, and even route both in parallel, giving you comprehensive control without changing a single patch cord. At the left side of the module, you also get CV and gate inputs for these control functions, enabling everything from breakcore-style effects switching to cybernetic self-organization of complex control systems.
