David Haillant's MIDI8d is a simple yet powerful 8 Digital Outputs from a MIDI TRS input connection.
The core of the MIDI8d is the classic Arduino Nano.
Many different firmwares (Arduino sketches) can be uploaded, to adapt or completely modify the behaviour.
Typical uses are 8 Drums outputs, reacting to MIDI Channel 10 (notes 36 to 43) or MIDI Clock ticks.
The 8 outputs can't produce analog CV. They are only digital: 0 or 5V. Nothing in between.
If you need analog outputs, please check the MIDI8d+ which provides 4 filtered and buffered PWM outputs in addition to 4 digitial outputs.
