GGS Dual AR Dual Attack/Release with Gate/Trigger converter
This module creates an envelope from the gate signal. Basically it shapes the rising and falling edges of the gate to create and envelope. The speed is based on 4 electrolytic capacitors, C1, C2 and C3, C4 and can be switched to fast or slow / long or short. The values of capacitors on the PCB is for average attack and release times. Higher value capacitors can be used for C2 and C4 to obtain longer release or C1 and C3 for longer attack. My personal taste is 22uf for C2 and C4 and 1uf for C1 and C3. It also comes with a gate to trigger converter for shorter envelope generation. It can be useful then using sequencers with no gate length adjustment. Trigger out is connected to gate 1 input and gate 1 input is also connected to gate 2 input. Connecting a gate signal to gate input of converter will trigger the both envelope generators. Same as if a gate signal is connected to gate input 1 will also trigger envelope 2. All these connections work with jack switches so they can easily be overwritten by connecting jacks to gate inputs.
