8 bit shift register

This module is based entirely on the CMOS 4094 shift register IC.
The 4094 is an 8 stage shift register that feeds an 8 bit storage register with output enable control.
All I've done is provide comparators on the inputs and buffers on the outputs to make it work with any eurorack signals.
Any input voltage above approx. 0.5V is treated as “1” and anything below that is “0”.
All outputs are gates, 0V when off, approx. 6V when on.

On the rising edge of a signal on CLOCK the signal on DATA IN is transferred to Q1.
On the next clock pulse the data on Q1 is shifted to Q2 to make room for new information on Q1.
The data is passed along the chain until it reaches Q8. The next clock pulse will shift it out of the register and it will be gone forever!
With nothing patched into DATA IN, an inverted copy of the data present on Q8 is sent to Q1 instead so you can get looping patterns with just one input signal fed to CLOCK.

SERIAL OUT provides the data at the end of the register. It'll be whatever was sent to DATA IN 7x clock pulses ago. It'll be the same as output Q8 unless the STROBE and OUT EN. jacks are being used.

When high, STROBE loads the data from the shift register into the storage register so it can appear on outputs Q1-8.
When STROBE is low the shift register data will still be passed along the chain 'in the background' so you might not know what you're going to get when STROBE goes high again!

OUT EN. stands for Output Enable.
If you patch something here Q1-Q8 will only output the data in the storage register while OUT EN. is high. When the signal on OUT EN. is low (
