This Module is a prototype or in a concept phase.

Dual Stereo VCF

We are working on a new module, apparently simple but with some interesting functions.
The basic idea is that of a 12db/oct self-oscillating multimode stereo filter with independent controls and outputs for each channel.
You may be wondering, "Why independent controls per channel?"
Because with independent controls per channel you get a richer stereo panorama, this is because dual mono allows you to manipulate the sound of each channel separately, giving you more precise control over the stereo image.
During the design phase, we also thought of normalizing the output of the first filter with the input of the second, so by doing this you can have a mono signal processed by the two filters in a chain.
Each channel has an active bipolar modulation input to get a positive or negative signal on the frequency control, and a post-filter vca with gain control (gain can be taken to distortion levels)and CV, the CVs of the vca's also have active bipolar attenuators.
In the center of the module we have an X-fade control to move the signal output from one filter to the other (obviously PAN L-R) when the module is used in stereo mode, or you can use it to achieve "morphing" between the 2 filters when used in mono.
Although it may seem trivial and obvious the module can also be used as a simple dual filter and process different sources.
The selling price will be around €150.00
Important thing we haven't chosen a name yet, if you like and like you can help us find it.
As soon as possible we will post some demo videos and make it available for purchase.
Let us know what you think
Thank you
