Discrete Program Equalizer

Add silky highs and thick lows to your sound with our fully analog program equalizer, inspired by classic 1970s hardware and reimagined with modern precision and discrete components. Based on the legendary Pultec EQP-1R, HORIZON delivers the musical tone and warmth of vintage units with a contemporary approach.

A custom “flying” gyrators replaces traditional inductors for high-frequency boosting, offering detailed highs and total immunity to hum. Combined with a discrete analog input and make-up stage, the module provides precise equalization with a musical character, making it an excellent choice for live performances, creative mixing, and transparent mastering applications. • Unique Gyrator Circuitry. Developed to deliver precise high-frequency enhancement with virtually no self-noise — adding clarity and musical detail that brings your mix to life.

• Stereo/Mono Operation. Allows for both stereo processing and mono configuration with left input being normaled to right.

• Separate High Frequency Shelf Attenuate and Peak Boost Control. Achieve detailed high-frequency shaping with pinpoint precision. The attenuation control works from 0 dB to -16 dB, while the boost control ranges from 0 dB to +15 dB, giving you exceptional flexibility for crafting your sound.

• Separate Low Frequency Shelf Attenuate and Peak Boost Control. Tailor your low-end with pinpoint precision. The attenuation control works from 0 dB to -17.5 dB, while the boost control ranges from 0 dB to +13.5 dB, giving you all the flexibility you need to sculpt the perfect low-frequency character.

• Gain (Make-Up Stage). Offers a gain range, providing the flexibility to finely balance your output level or push the signal into gentle harmonic saturation. Perfect for adding a touch of musical color and enhancing the final character of your mix or mastering.

• Q: Bandwidth Control. Fine-tunes the width of the high frequency peak boost, shaping your sound from broad and gentle to tight and focused within a 10 to 15 dB range. This precise control lets you tailor the high-end detail to perfectly match your mix.

• Bypass. Compare processed and clean signals.

• Level Metering. See the levels or output signal so have more control before hitting next in the chain module. Modular and Line-Level Compatibility. Although designed to excel with modular-level signals, Horizon is also compatible with standard line-level inputs.
